ICYF President Taha Ayhan met with UN Assistant Secretary-General Felipe Paullier at the United Nations HQ in New York, fostering global youth engagement and empowerment. Mr. Taha shared ICYF’s diverse programs and initiatives for youth development, and Mr. Filipe shared the successful establishment of the Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs position with strong member state support. Assistant Secretary-General Paullier underscored the importance of grassroots partnerships with youth organizations and addressed pressing challenges facing youth around the globe, emphasizing the important role of youth in shaping the future of development. Both parties agreed on the importance of cooperation to achieve the youth development agenda.
