A delegation from ICYF led by President Taha Ayhan met Prof. Dr. Azza Karam from the Religions for Peace Institution and her delegation on the 23rd of October 2020. The meeting between the two institutions saw the discussion of areas of mutual interest. The use of religion to promote peace and tolerance remains not only a key goal for both institutions but also a much-needed path to be taken amidst the rise of hate crimes and religious intolerance in many countries across the world. The need for strategic partnerships like this in promoting peace and advocating for close cooperation among young people across all walks of life is crucial and not to be undermined. The successful meeting saw the signing of an MoU by the Religions for Peace Institution and the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum.
