Loubna El Hassouni holds a master’s degree in Management Sciences and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Fintech at Mohammed V University in Rabat, Morocco. A dedicated youth and civil society activist, Loubna is committed to sustainable development, youth empowerment, diplomacy, peace, dialogue, and human rights.
Professionally, she has served as an administrative and financial manager at a Moroccan IT startup and as a grant manager at the Moroccan Association for Solidarity and Development. Additionally, she has led training sessions to enhance the administrative, financial, and budgetary skills of local associations.
As Vice President of Eden Maroc Association, Loubna empowers Moroccan youth through inclusive and sustainable projects. She manages a partnership with the Danish Youth Council focused on advancing sustainable development goals and has facilitated workshops on project management, critical thinking, debate, and advocacy. Loubna represents Eden Maroc Association at the Mediterranean Dialogue, a network of civil society organizations from Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East addressing key issues across the Mediterranean region.
Additionally, Loubna serves as a Youth Sounding Board member under the Arab Danish Partnership Program (2022-2027), working with local partners to advocate for youth-centered activities.
In 2024, she graduated from the international Political Leadership Academy, organized by the Youth Policy Center in partnership with the Danish Youth Council (DUF). The program prepares young Moroccans for the 2026 elections, promotes community-driven volunteerism, and fosters dialogue between youth and political leaders to drive institutional change.
Also in 2024, she was elected as an Executive Board member of the Arab Group of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, becoming the first female to serve on the board. She is involved with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication of Morocco and the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum in preparing the ‘Marrakech Capital of OIC Youth 2025’ program, demonstrating her commitment to youth development and international cooperation.
