ICYF President Mr. Taha Ayhan strongly condemns the Armenian attack on Azerbaijan’s state border.

The Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) strongly condemns the attack by Armenian forces in the Tovuz district of Azerbaijan on July 12, 2020, which resulted in the death and injury of the military servicemen of the Azerbaijani forces.

ICYF President extends his deep condolences to the families of the victims and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, wishes a speedy recovery to the injured, and offers sympathy and solidarity to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan.

ICYF referred to the resolutions and decisions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions which demand immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and support a peaceful settlement to the conflict on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
