Last Monday, on 29th July at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University, ICYF in partnership with the Association of Scientific Studies ILEM (İlmi Etüdler Derneği) successfully presented the opening ceremony of the 6th International ILEM Summer School. ICYF president Mr. Taha Ayhan took part in the opening ceremony and spoke about the youth and their role in reviving Islamic heritage.
Afterwards, was a panel session under the theme title of ‘Transnational Islam and the Challenges of Being a Muslim Ummah.’ The panel had a selection of bright intellectuals and thinkers, with many great insights on the subject. For the first session: Prof. Dr. Muhammed Haron, Dr. Selim, Argun
for the second session: Dr. Sumeyye Parıldar, Dr. Naoki Qayyim, Mr. Hassan Ben Imran.

The ICYF team distributed ICYF’s project booklets to participants, and set up its Virtual Reality stand, presenting Islamic Heritage sites from all around the world to the panel attendees.
