On 20-24 May 2024, the ICYF delegation visited the city of Marrakech for technical evaluation of the preparations of hosting “Marrakech OIC Youth Capital – 2025” International Programme at the invitation by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco.

During the visit, several meetings were held to apprehend the facilities on the field such as youth centers, conferences halls, universities? museums, historical zones and health infrastructure.

The OIC Youth Capital International Programme serves as a dynamic platform for Muslim youth to strengthen solidarity, promote the spirit of unity and foster inter-cultural diversity.
During the visit to Marrakech, ICYF delegation was received by H.E. Farid Chourak, Wali (Governor) of the Marrakech-Safi region. The Governor assured the readiness of Marrakech City to host the OIC Youth Capital International Programme in 2025.
