The ICYF delegation led by Mr. Rasul Omarov, the ICYF Director-General attended the 50^th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) held on 29-30 August 2024 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The Council unanimously adopted a resolution No.7/50-C on affiliated institutions – B) ICYF, in which has welcomed the significant contributions made by the ICYF in advancing youth empowerment, notably through its capacity-building actions encompassing volunteerism, leadership, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, while commended the Forum’s activities implemented since the 49^th CFM, particularly programs conducted on the margins of the ECOSOC Youth Forum, along with the annual volunteerism, media, and MOIC camps, and also welcomed the outcomes of the Forum’s last General Assembly held on 9-10 February 2024 in Istanbul, Türkiye. The Council has invited member states to actively endorse and bolster the ICYF’s initiatives in youth development.
