On the sideline of the Third OIC Member States Conference on Mediation, held in Istanbul on 1st November 2019, H.E. Mr. Taha Ayhan, President of Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), met with H.E. Mr. Nejib Friji, Director of The Regional Office of The New York-Headquartered International Peace Institute, Middle East & North Africa (IPI MENA) in Manama, Bahrain, and former Director of UN Information Centre and Spokesperson of the UN in Mideast, ICYF President briefed H.E. Mr. Nejib Friji about ICYF’s vision and mission, while the Director of International Peace Institute, highlighted the importance of youth aspect in strengthening the regional integration and cooperation, and explored possibilities of greater opportunities for youth interaction in the region. The parties expressed views on the steps to further deepen and widen the scope of mutual cooperation in the future.
