During the Solidarity visit of the ICYF delegation to Azerbaijan President Ayhan was received by Mr. Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration in Baku.

Noting that the visit was planned at a time of ongoing hostilities, Mr. Taha Ayhan expressed his satisfaction that it coincided with the victory. He welcomed the trilateral statement on the cessation of all hostilities and expressed his congratulations on behalf of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum. Mr. Ayhan with deep sorrow wished mercy to our martyrs and healing to the wounded.

The ICYF President expressed his deep gratitude to Mr. Hajiyev and highlighted that ICYF since its foundation has counted on the support of the Government of Azerbaijan, especially the personal support of H.E. Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan.

Mr. Hikmet Hajiyev noted that he was pleased by having the ICYF delegation headed by Mr. Taha Ayhan in Azerbaijan and expressed that the Government of Azerbaijan strongly supports the ICYF and its activities.
