The Executive Board of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) condemns the continuous attacks staged by the Israeli forces on Palestine and re-confirms that the Israeli occupation, which have oppressed Palestinians for decades, is the main cause of instability in Palestine, and the reason of cycle of violence has affected youth and children the most. Furthermore, the occupation forces targeted for many years the Holy City of Alquds and the holy temples, especially al-Masjid al-Aqsa, in violation of international law, United Nations resolutions, and human rights and deprived millions of civilians living in Gaza of their most basic rights for years and create horror in the hearts of civilians. The Executive Board of the ICYF is also following with concern the last developments and the dangerous Israeli escalation and denounces the Israeli military aggression that led to the fall of hundreds of martyrs and wounded among the Palestinian people and further stresses that the continuation of the Israeli occupation and its failure to adhere to the resolutions of international legitimacy is the root cause of the conflict. The Executive Board of the ICYF also holds the Israeli occupation the responsibility for the escalation and calls on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibilities towards stopping the Israeli aggression, providing international protection for the Palestinian people, and sponsoring a serious political process in order to end the Israeli occupation and embody the establishment of the Palestinian State as an independent, sovereign, with al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital, along the lines of international law and order, and achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the relevant UN decisions. The Executive Board of the ICYF further urges OIC Member States and the international community to unite in condemning and ending the repeated Israeli aggression against Palestinians, providing urgent support to the affected Palestinian people, and relief to the wounded.
