In these days, which coincide with the 53rd anniversary of the burning of the Mubarak Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israili extremists on August 21, 1969, the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum condemns in the strongest words the barbaric attack that targeted Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is a symbol and moral value for all religions. This attack, which violates all international norms and human values, constitutes a black point in the history of all humanity.

In this context, the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum would like to reiterate its stand with the Palestinian people in their just cause, and the visit of Mr. Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum between 20-22 August 2022, upon the kind invitation of the Higher Council for Youth and Sports in the State of Palestine, embodies the continous support of ICYF for Palestine and its brave people.

In this regard, the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum addresses a call to all actors at the regional and international levels to stand with the Palestinian people in their just cause.

In reference to his permanent support for the Palestinian people in their just cause, Mr. Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, was honored by the President of the State of Palestine, H.E. Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, with the Star of Merit from the Order of the State of Palestine, as a token of thanks and appreciation for his tremendous efforts in serving and developing the Palestinian youth in order to serve their just cause.
