On 28-31 December 2020, the ICYF in collaboration with SESRIC, IsDB, and IPRD Government successfully organized an online Capacity Building Program on ‘Strategies of Countering Violent Extremism’ for 20 Religious Leaders from Libya. The program sought to combat violent extremism in fragile states while building capacities for young people in areas of peace and social coexistence. The participants were trained and certificated by experts from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, and Qatar University.
