The 2nd Session of the Permanent Ministerial Council on Youth and Sports was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 27th of February 2020 under the chairmanship of H.E. Azad Rahimov, Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the ministerial council, ICYF President Taha Ayhan presented a report of ICYF Activities and Projects that were implemented since 4th ICYSM. A long with reports of the participating institutions, resolutions of the 4th ICYSM were evaluated by the members of the council.

At the end of the meeting, Baku Communique was adopted unanimously, in which ICYF’s role as one of the major implementing agency of the OIC Youth Strategy was also commended.

Permanent Ministerial Council consists of ICYSM Troika (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia), Palestine, Iran, Senegal, Iraq along with OIC General Secretariat, Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation, and Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum.
